Hey, I don't do a ton of research before I rock an episode so I wanted to say the female singer featured as the fifth excerpt in this episode, Rima Khcheich, is Lebanese so yeah she's in the war zone. May the bombs stop dropping soon.
It seems a bit weird to be spinning tracks during a shooting war, something even worse more widespread than the genocide in Gaza. But if some of the music here can be an outlet for what people are feeling and work its nonverbal magic on the human brain, well then that's what music is for.
Thanks for listening and good luck to all the decent Vermonters fighting the goon squad ICE, stay safe out there.
